About the programme

Konstantin Volostnov has been a prizewinner at international competitions including the St. Albans competition in England in 2009. In 2013 he took his final concert examination at the Stuttgart Musikhochschule, graduating with distinction. Until 2022 he played regularly on the historic Aristide Cavaillé-Coll organ in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. He has performed worldwide and been a guest at leading organ festivals including Haarlem, St. Albans and Chartres. From 2010 to 2022 he taught at the Moscow Conservatory, and has enjoyed a busy schedule as a jury member at organ competitions. In 2022 he performed the complete organ works of J.S. Bach for the fourth time. His recordings on the Melodia and Naxos labels, including the organ works of Johannes Brahms, have achieved international recognition.
