This season’s programme features lots of new music. But of course we’ve also chosen well-known works for you, such as Bach’s Christmas Oratorio on the 4th Sunday in Advent. This is followed on 13 January 2025 with a concert by candlelight of romantic Christmas music from England. We have a Stuttgart first performance of the Brockes Passion by Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel 300 years after its composition. There are also classics and discoveries from the romantic and modern periods, and collaborative concerts – all with top-class ensembles.
The 2024/25 season of “Musik am 13.” once again proves to be the most important platform for new sacred music in southern Germany. We have premieres and first performances by Klaus Huber, Neithard Bethke, Cornelius Cardew and others for you. For our composer portrait on 13 February we have the great pleasure of featuring Lisa Streich.
Our “Summer! Organ” cycle, with international guests and a Young Artists’ Concert, ends our 2024/25 season. This takes place from 27 July to 31 August 2025.
